Q: I am designing for a three-compartment sink and a commercial dishwasher installation for a restaurant. I see Section 704.3 of the 2015 Plumbing Code requires a tell-tale floor on each of the fixture to protect from sewer backing up. A 3-compartment stainless steel sink with dual integral drain boards is required. The sink must be capable of accommodating the largest utensil (dish or pot) to be washed.
